The road can be grueling some times. After shows in Tucson, I packed up the wife and kid and drove straight through to Nebraska. The kid was a champ lasting 23 hours, albeit with frequent stops to wipe his ass. Driving through extreme heat, stopping in Santa Fe to visit the Georgia O’Keeffe “flower” (cough cough) museum, getting hailed on in Kansas and eating all the gas station food we could fit in my 2-door coupe. Now we’ve got 2 weeks in the heartland before heading to South Bend.
